Jackie Pajo- A Soulful Beauty

This time around we got the awesome opportunity to get an interview with the lovely Jackie Pajo. With a powerful and soulful voice well beyond her years, She is definitely someone you want to keep your eyes on. We totally believe big things are in store for this amazing talent.  Get to know her here…

Where do you currently reside?

Holbæk, Denmark

What sort of things do you do for fun?

I enjoy cooking with friends, swimming, dancing, surfing the internet, and visiting with fans via

Facebook.

It is awesome that you communicate with your fans on facebook. Very admirable.

What artists is most played on your ipod or stereo?

Jessie J, Mariah Carey, Adele, and Duffy.

Jessie J and Adele are such a breath of fresh air in the industry. LOVE THEM!!!

How would you describe your music?

I would have to say that my music is soulful.  I love expressing a deep emotional style when I sing a

song.  If I really love a song, I can pour all of my feelings into it.  Generally speaking, soulful music

can be catchy and many people do find that they connect with a song that can be linked to a personal

place in time.

You are definitely soulful. It is like you channel many different soulful singers from past generations. True talent!

What is your most memorable performance? why?

I have many memories of shows and my supporters, but one memory in particular took place in 2009,

at the Amari, a five star hotel in Thailand.  The memory pertains to what took place after my

performance in front of fifty or sixty VIPs.  I recall being greeted after the show and congratulated.

These folks showed an authentic admiration for the music, my talent, and the show in general.  For me,

I was overwhelmed and hugely appreciative.

Do you write your own music? if so who or what inspires your lyrics?

Yes, I do write music.  The life experience inspires me to write.  An example is when I wrote the song,

Springtime.  To me, the title is very clear.  Spring represents a new birth, something new, something

living, something growing.  I was very happy in that moment of my life.  Happy to be alive.  Happy

that someone loved me and I was returning that love.  So, yes, life’s experiences can be very

inspirational and the results can be that of a song.

You have such depth in your words. Very passionate and moving!

Are you signed to a label?

No. I am Independent.

That should change soon!!

Whose career do you most admire in the music industry?

I would have to say that I admire the career of Beyonce.  Firstly, I would have to say that she is an

phenomenal song writer.  Secondly, she is a spectacular talent, vocally.  Finally, her music studio is

quite extraordinary.  The kind of place that leaves an artist like me in awe.  A studio like that would be

a dream come true.

BEYONCE IS SPECTACULAR!!

Of your personal music, what is the one you are most proud of? Why?

“Springtime” because I believe the song was meant to materialize into existence.  I think that I have

done well with the song because it has a solid melody.  I created the melody with one stroke of my

guitar and like magic, the song was created and I captured it, initially on my iphone. But all in all, the

song was born from my life’s experience in that moment.

Absolutely Beautiful.

What are your future goals and ambitions as it pertains to music?

My ambition is to have a hit song, perhaps a handful, sequentially.  To have a sprinkling of hit songs

throughout the course of my music career is certainly an aspiration.  I would be happy to have these

hits songs fall somewhere within the top 20 hits on music charts in at least Denmark, the United States,

and of course, the Philippines.  This ambition is one driven by my love for music and having a strong

desire to contribute to life’s experience in a meaningful and lasting way.

You are an amazing person and your heart and ambition are clearly seen in your music and in this interview!

Kat Deluna and Duffy.  Someday, I would love to work with Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and

Mariah Carey.
